The Galleria’s holiday season kicks off with the lighting of its 55-foot tree, wrapped in 450,000 lights and 5,000 ornaments. The 45-minute celebration features performances by the cast of Stages’ *The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical*, The Rice Philharmonics, and Space City Sound, plus skating showcases from award-winning pros Madison Vinci, Timmothy Dolensky, and Deanna Panin with Iarosla Savenko, alongside the Ice at The Galleria ensemble. Santa drops by, and Houston Pets Alive joins in to spread the cheer.
