The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Boston presents its annual Concert and Ceilidh, "The Old World Meets the New," featuring the duo Alasdair White (fiddle) and Eric McDonald (guitar, vocals), whose sound blends deep Scottish roots with North American folk. Stephen Thomforde (pipes) adds to the music, while Highland Dance Boston and the Boston Scottish Country Dancers perform both classic and fresh takes on traditional dance. Ceilidh dancing is open to everyone at intermission and after the show, so come ready to join in.
