Featuring Rivers Symphony Orchestra
Genres: classical
The Rivers Symphony Orchestra takes over Powers Hall with a program pairing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra—featuring soloists Jin-Kyung Joen on violin and Emily Rome on viola—with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor. It’s a classic mix of elegant dialogue and sweeping drama, played by a full orchestra in an intimate setting. If you’re in the mood for a substantial, satisfying concert, this is the one to catch.
