Shakespeare introduces one of his most notorious villains in Richard III, a deformed youngest brother who vows to prove himself a villain by murdering and manipulating his way to the English throne. Armed with unparalleled skills of persuasion and deceit, Richard wins his audience over with wit and cunning, only to face a rapid downfall as his kingdom built on lies crumbles. Performances feature a strangely lovable villain who leaves the audience questioning who they are truly rooting for.
