Anthony Williams’ URBAN NUTCRACKER brings its Boston-inspired holiday dance spectacle to the Shubert Theatre, setting winter scenes in a modern downtown landscape. The show mixes Tchaikovsky’s classical score with Duke Ellington’s swing, weaving together ballet, tap, hip hop, flamenco, and jazz for a vibrant, city-flavored twist on the tradition.
