Laurent Naouri and Natalie Dessay bring Philippe Sands' award-winning book to life in a multimedia stage production at The Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres. This Toronto International Festival of Authors presentation blends narration by Sands with music from Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Leonard Cohen to explore global justice through the stories of three men from the Nuremberg trials. The show offers a provocative look at morality and humanity, asking how individuals at opposite ends of the good and evil spectrum find solace in the same aria.
