The Amir Amiri Ensemble, guided by Artistic Director Amir Amiri, presents a world premiere at the Nanji Family Foundation Auditorium that weaves together Canadian and Spanish Andalusian talents. Featuring Óscar de los Reyes, Esperanza Soria, and Gaspar Rodríguez, the performance blends flamenco, poetry, and music to trace the historical links between Persian and Andalusian cultures through the legacy of Ziryab. This multidisciplinary show invites audiences to consider how ancient artistic knowledge travels through time and finds its place in modern life.
