The Calgary Phil brings the Jack Singer Concert Hall to life with Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, a stirring tale of resurrection rising above death. Alejandra Urrutia guides the orchestra through Sibelius's haunting waltz before Angela Cheng takes center stage for Saint-Saëns's scintillating Second Piano Concerto, which concludes with a lively tarantella.
