Featuring Come From Away
The Segal Centre and Thousand Islands Playhouse co-present the Tony-winning musical *Come From Away*, by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, directed and choreographed by Stephanie Graham with music direction by Benjamin Kersey. Based on the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, it follows 7,000 passengers stranded there when US airspace closed during the September 11 attacks, and how the town turned strangers into family. The production explores the events, aftermath, and grief of that day, and is recommended for ages 12+.
