Every Sunday, the La Jolla Open Aire Market brings together more than 120 local vendors selling handmade goods and fresh food to raise funds for La Jolla Elementary School. Since Sherry Ahern launched this initiative in 1998, the event has grown into a bustling weekly gathering that supports classroom upgrades and hiring new teachers.
