Join us at Mount Pleasant Village for a fascinating look at how photography shaped colonial-era storytelling, guided by the work of renowned photographer Lala Deen Dayal. Drawing on Deepali Dewan’s research at the Royal Ontario Museum, we’ll explore a selection of his images from the ROM’s collection—pictures that reveal both what was documented and how it was framed. It’s a thoughtful, visual dive into history that’s perfect for anyone curious about the power of the lens.
