Most folks zoom past Valmont Butte without a clue about the layers of history tucked around it—this exhibit, put together with Historic Boulder, pulls back the curtain on everything from sacred grounds and industry to contamination and community gatherings. It digs into the area’s long, complicated past and asks a pointed question: can these hidden relics be preserved before they vanish? Open Wednesday through Monday, it’s a thoughtful look at a landmark you’ve probably driven by a hundred times.
