Indie Meme presents Honeyjoon, a light-and-dark comedy featuring June and her Persian-British mother Lela as they journey to the Azores islands for a grief anniversary. A hot philosophical surfer guides them through contrasting ways of coping with life's waves, loss, and flirting in this unique storytelling experience. The film is brought to you by an organization championing South Asian narratives at AFS Cinema.
