Featuring Cristina Velásquez
Join Cristina Velásquez at the Dougherty Arts Center for the Austin launch of her monograph, *Somos Animales Poéticos*, published by Dust Collective. The solo exhibition pairs her photographs with literary fragments, building a personal mythology rooted in Global South literature and feminisms. It’s a thoughtful, layered look at how images and words can shape identity.
