Featuring Austin Underground Collective
Austin Underground Collective stages Andrew Lippa’s *The Wild Party*, a jazz-soaked musical based on Joseph Moncure March’s poem, following Queenie and Burrs as their decadent 1920s soirée spirals into clashes of ego and need. With the audience pulled into the action rather than watching from afar, this intimate run leans into Prohibition-era style—period dress is welcome—and doesn’t shy from mature themes like sexuality, violence, and substance use. It’s a tight, 12-show engagement for those ready to sit inside the story.
