Featuring Jesse Gallagher, Steve Fell
Genres: rock, jazz/blues
Jesse Gallagher—who lived above the Lilypad starting in 2006 and played in the psychedelic rock band Apollo Sunshine—teams up with guitarist Steve Fell for a seated evening of music. Gallagher’s résumé includes touring and recording with Apollo Sunshine, press in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Spin, and sharing stages with Wu-Tang Clan, Toots & The Maytals, The Flaming Lips, and Dr. Dog. Fell, a guitarist, composer, and educator with a range spanning jazz, experimental, and funk, co-leads Clear Audience and Quantum Banditos, making this a compelling double bill.
