Bring your current read and settle in among the greenery at California Botanic Garden’s Silent Reading Club. The meetup opens with about 20 minutes of laid-back book talk and recommendations, then shifts into quiet, shared reading time—no assigned titles, no pressure. Folding chairs are on hand, though bringing your own camp chair is encouraged for extra comfort.
