Jenny Stafford's play Beating a Dead Horse, directed by Alyson Soma, follows two brothers who inherit a struggling pet funeral home from their late father and struggle to keep it running. Their efforts are tested when a wealthy woman's family offers them a fortune to host an extravagant funeral, setting the stage for a story driven by conflicting personal motivations.
