Opera Colorado brings Verdi’s Macbeth to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, a brooding take on 11th-century Scotland where gossip morphs into prophecy and ambition feeds on the tales we accept. It’s a sharp look at how whispers can crown a ruler—or topple one—with the chorus and orchestra driving the tension. A smart, atmospheric pick for anyone who likes their opera with a political edge.
