The 11th annual Black Mountain Turkey Burner Trail Race, part of the ERS Sunshine Series, returns with half marathon, 10K, and 5K courses over rugged, hilly dirt trails. Runners will tackle the climb-heavy route starting and finishing at Black Mountain Community Park, with a kids dash and awards ceremony rounding out the morning. This ERS Championship Qualifier caps at 300 participants, so it’s a solid pick for a challenging pre-holiday effort.
