Radiant Terrains pulls from Laguna Art Museum’s own collection to trace how artists from the 1960s onward have bent light into sculpture, painting, photography, and installation. You’ll see cornerstone pieces by Light and Space figures Peter Alexander, Craig Kauffman, and Helen Pashgian, plus Anthony Friedkin’s wave photographs and Stephen Hendee’s glowing architectural forms, all alongside works by Lita Albuquerque, Sandow Birk, and the de la Torre brothers. Curated by Tyler Stallings for the museum’s Art + Nature series, it’s a thoughtful mix of California light and conceptual play.
