The 12th annual Massachusetts Elementary School Cross Country Championship, hosted by Lynn Parks and Recreation and Gannon Golf Course, brings together students in grades 1-5 for a day of racing designed to spark a love for running and promote an active, budget-friendly hobby. Runners compete for individual and team honors, with plaques for the top squads and medals for the fastest finishers, while every participant gets an award just for crossing the line. It’s a welcoming, spirited introduction to the sport for young athletes and their schools alike.
