Dan Studney and Kevin Murphy’s musical spoof of the 1936 anti-marijuana film turns clean-cut kids’ downfall into a wild ride of jazz, vice, and chaos. Directed by Rovin Jay with choreography by Sonya Randall and musical direction by Stephen Olear, the show leans into adult humor, fog, flashing lights, and simulated gunfire. Expect a knowingly over-the-top satire that’s equal parts camp and cautionary tale.
