Featuring Kate Nash
Genres: pop, rock
Kate Nash is a London-raised singer-songwriter and actor who first drew attention as an alt-pop artist after her music caught the ear of Lily Allen on MySpace. Her sound is defined by its unpredictability, moving between piano-pounding rock, frenetic garage-punk, and fizzy synth-pop, and her playful lyrics balance the silly with the profound, with themes of love, self-preservation, and feminism.
