Featuring Rupinder Kaloti
Punjabi-American artist Rupinder "Rupy" Kaloti presents her large-scale solo exhibition, The Gathering, at the Oceanside Museum of Art. This debut showcase reimagines the immigrant story through paintings on hand-cut wood panels that blend motifs from Punjab, India, with scenes from East San José, California. The museum is hosting a public celebration to mark the award given to Kaloti after her piece "Fire Raiser" stood out in the 2024 juried exhibition.
