Choreographer François Chaignaud and musician Aymeric Hainaux bring their beatbox-and-dance duel *Mirlitons* to Chicago, presented by The Renaissance Society as part of its Intermissions series. The piece fuses beatboxing, song, and movement as two voices and two bodies square off on a central stage, following runs in Brussels, Paris, and Vienna. Curated by Karsten Lund with Michael Harrison, the performance is supported by Albertine Dance, a program of Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation.
