Featuring Johnny Burke, Andrew Hinton
Emmy-winning filmmakers Johnny Burke and Andrew Hinton present their feature-length documentary, Loving Karma, at the Regent Theatre. The film tracks former Tibetan Buddhist monk Lobsang Phuntsok as he returns to the Indian Himalayas to establish a sanctuary for wounded children and reflects on the community's progress a decade later. This screening explores whether compassion can truly mend deep wounds, drawing inspiration from the Dalai Lama's dedication to kindness.
