The Condor Daughter, winner of Best Film at the Biarritz Latin American Film Festival, follows Clara, a teenager in a small indigenous community high in the Andes. Raised by her adoptive mother, a midwife who taught her the ancient childbirth songs passed down through generations, Clara’s voice carries that tradition—but her dreams pull her toward the big city and a career as a folkloric music star.
