In 1953 Washington D.C., a fresh college grad named Timothy Laughlin lands in the thick of the Red Scare, only to find his ideals tested when he meets Hawkins Fuller, a smooth State Department operator. Their instant spark ignites a secret affair that collides with the era’s ruthless investigations into "Lavender" lives, leading to a story of passion, conviction, and a devastating choice. It’s a tense, romantic drama about love surviving in a city where one whisper can ruin everything.
