Arturo, a lisp-prone scholar returning from Spain, faces off against the pompous Don Rubio in *The Angels: Page to Stage* at Victory Theatre Center. This long-lost Californio verse comedy, modeled on Lope de Vega's *Fuenteovejuna*, blends bawdy rhyming humor with a powerful message that angels appear in every form.
