Join Stephen A. Sansom, assistant professor of Classics at Florida State University, for a talk on the bodies in Hesiod’s poetry—divine forms that devour gods, mortals who process heavenly gifts, and how these metabolic processes shape political and poetic success. Sansom, whose work spans Greek epic, computational analysis, and comparative approaches, brings fresh insight into the Hesiodic corpus. Hosted by the Center for Hellenic Studies Program.
