Featuring Strawberry Girls, Andrés
Genres: rock, hip-hop/r&b
Strawberry Girls is a Salinas, California trio that plays progressive instrumental rock, and it moves between prog, funk, and R&B, sometimes within a single song. The band formed in 2011 and is often described as progressive rock, experimental rock, and post-hardcore; its recordings leap from prog to funk to R&B. The band has no official singer, so guests such as Andrés provide vocals on some tracks, like the closer "Party Nights." Listeners may sing along to melodies, and Andrés fronts "Party Nights."
