Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts Northwestern University presents Kirsten Greenidge’s gothic tale, where a contemporary Black couple’s new houseguest—a ravenous ghost of a young white girl—disrupts their home and forces them to confront unsettling questions about race, class, and the American Dream. The story unfolds with unsettling sounds and escalating demands as June and Lurie struggle to keep Beatrice satisfied, leading to a chilling reckoning. Recommended for ages 15 and up, this performance runs about 2 hours and 20 minutes with an intermission.
