The San Diego Okinawa Prefecture Association brings together Ryukyuan folk songs, dance, karate, and Aisai for a cultural gathering at the Buddhist Temple of San Diego. Non-members are welcome to join by paying an annual fee of $20, while everyone enjoys a bento meal as part of the evening.
