Step into the SAAAB Story at Heroes Hall, a permanent exhibition that dives into the Santa Ana Army Air Base’s role in WWII and the growth of Orange County through films, photos, maps, and oral histories. The display has been refreshed with new artifacts—original uniforms, telegrams, and trophies—plus fresh sections spotlighting women, Latino and LGBTQ service members, internment camp letters, German POWs, Tuskegee Airmen, and home front efforts. It’s a rich, free look at local history, open year-round Wednesdays through Sundays.
