UNLV Opera Workshop II brings a double bill of chamber operas to the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall. *Jackie at Vassar* (music by Allen Shearer, libretto by Claudia Stevens) follows a young Jacqueline Bouvier during her sophomore year, while *Cinderemma and the Green Sneaker* (music by Jules Massenet, Gioachino Rossini, and Pauline Viardot, dialogue by Linda Lister) gives the fairy tale a playful, eco-conscious makeover. It’s a fun, varied evening of short-form opera with a contemporary twist.
