Candlelight Newport Beach brings a live string quartet tribute to Metallica to The Lido Theater, where the band’s catalog gets a classical reimagining in a room lit by candles. Settle in for a set that trades electric amps for bowed strings, giving familiar riffs a softer, more dramatic edge. It’s a different way to hear the music, with the glow of candlelight setting the mood.
