The Guitar Ensemble Concert is an annual recital presented by the Santa Ana College Music Department, where student guitarists perform solo, in duos and trios, and as a full group. More than 20 student-guitarists will perform simultaneously as well as in duos, trios, quartets, and quintets. The program mixes classical and contemporary pieces, including music by Alessandro Marcello, Mark Houghton, Annette Kruisbrink, Carlos Santana, and others, and it closes with an original work by the director, professor David Adele.
