Featuring Laurence Belzile
Vancouver artist Laurence Belzile brings her solo show *Créatrices D'Images* to The ACT Arts Centre, featuring five large-scale abstract paintings that pay tribute to Betty Goodwin, Faith Ringgold, Françoise Sullivan, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Marlene Dumas. Alongside the canvases, she shares her creative process through reference materials, sketches, and experimental pieces that reveal how each artist shaped her palette, tools, and approach. It’s a thoughtful look at the threads connecting one painter’s work to the legends who came before her.
