Featuring Leilah Babirye
Leilah Babirye debuts a fresh series of ceramic and wood sculptures at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, each piece taking on a role in a lively installation inspired by the queer wedding. The show blends ceremony and celebration while continuing her focus on uplifting LGBTQ identities through her inventive use of found materials and carving. Her first book accompanies the exhibition.
