Judy Baca’s Great Wall of Los Angeles unveils two brand-new mural sections at the Skirball Cultural Center, spotlighting the Civil Rights Movement (1954–1968) and the wide range of people and communities who drove that era of collective action. These freshly revealed panels—shown for the first time—carry a resonance that feels especially urgent today, with additional sections rolling out through the exhibition’s run.
