Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week 2026 kicks off with Red Dress Night, a runway show featuring designers Yolonda Skelton (Jackson), Sugiit Lukxs, Alyssia Sutherland, Dawoozhii Designs – Rhiannon Folgheraiter, Ay Lelum, The Good House of Design, Lesley Hampton, and Nathan Jenniss. The dress code is red, worn in solidarity with missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, men, Two-Spirit, and LGBTQ+ community members. It’s a powerful opening statement that pairs striking design with a call to remember.
