Featuring Art-BC
Art-BC presents Tupananchiskama, an exhibition showcasing nearly 100 pre-Columbian ceramic, textile, bone, and wood works collected by former UBC Professor Alan R. Sawyer. This collection, now housed at MOA, explores the spiritual understanding of the universe rooted in reciprocity and balance, featuring pieces some dating back over 2,500 years. Guest curator Luis Manuel González and curatorial liaison Nuno Porto guide visitors through a reflection on continuity, resilience, and the promise of reunion within these ancient traditions.
