Rancho Los Cerritos opens its gates ahead of schedule on the second Thursday of each month for a guided bird walk, with staff on hand to field questions about the local feathered residents and the surrounding landscape. Bring your own binoculars if you’ve got them, and enjoy a relaxed, curious stroll through the historic grounds. It’s a low-key way to start your day with a little nature and a lot of local lore.
