The Block Museum of Art’s annual student acquisition exhibition debuts a newly acquired piece by Chicago artist Antonius-Tín Bui, whose practice blends hand-cut paper, performance, and soft sculpture. Curated by Llewyn Blossfeld and Essi Rönkkö, the work sits alongside other museum pieces that dig into themes of cutting, weaving, movement, and shifting ideas of place and belonging. It’s a thoughtful, hands-on look at how materials carry history.
