Jennifer Hauser’s "Storied Views" brings her ink and colored pencil drawings to life, inspired by a child’s way of seeing hidden worlds in everyday, messy surroundings—like a lone weed blooming in a tidy lawn, where a home sits among ladybugs, ants, squirrels, and rabbits. A Chicago-area artist with roots in music and architecture, Hauser turns those early doodles into intricate, playful scenes. Catch the exhibit at 834 Lake St., with a reception and a line-drawing workshop tied to the show.
