The Christmas Revels presents *Midwinter Revels: American Crossroads* at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre, a theatrical celebration of the winter solstice rooted in 19th-century songs and stories from the Great Plains. The production honors the frontier's Polish, Irish, German, Indigenous, Chinese, and Black communities through music, dance, folktales, and rituals, carrying on a holiday tradition that has spanned nearly five decades. Expect a rich, roughly 2.5-hour journey through the diverse cultural threads that shaped the American heartland.
