The Joffrey Ballet’s The Nutcracker is a two-act ballet choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and set to Tchaikovsky’s classic score. It reimagines the story amid Chicago’s 1893 World’s Fair, following young Marie on a fantastical journey through the fairgrounds.
