Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning presents *The Merboy Next Door: A New Musical in Concert*, a queer coming-of-age comedy set in 2003 that follows a foster teen who discovers his singing voice holds supernatural powers. The show blends early-2000s teen-movie nostalgia with sea mythology to explore themes of family, identity, and finding home within a story featuring competitive swimmers and an ill-advised high-school production of *Moby Dick*.
