Nilima Sheikh brings her research-based narrative paintings to New York, weaving together image and text to explore themes of violence, displacement, and human connection. This exhibition features selections from her Kashmir Valley series alongside a new site-responsive commission that highlights women's voices and regional stories through interconnected vignettes. Born in New Delhi and shaped by the Baroda art scene, Sheikh continues to bear witness to history with works displayed at 11 West 53 Street.
